To divorce, you have to give certain reasons. In Canada, the law provides for 3 valid grounds for requesting a divorce: separation of the spouses for a year, adultery and physical or mental cruelty.

• Do not put your cup in the dishwasher (USA)
• Do not reply to a message from your spouse on Facebook messenger (Taiwan)
• Dislike Frozen (Japan)
• extramarital affair 60 years ago (Italy)
• Do not eat with cutlery (Kuwait)

In Quebec and Canada, these divorce requests would obviously not be accepted!
